Help with the ITS Password Change Page


Some versions of Internet Explorer (typically older versions) seem to have trouble with the Password Change form. There are methods that fix a certain class of problems with older versions of Internet Explorer.

If a popup appears while submitting the form explaining that there was an error processing the results, you need to add https://its-services.case.edu to your list of "Trusted Sites." Follow these steps to do so.

  1. At the top menu bar, click on "Tools."
  2. On the menu, choose "Internet Options."
  3. In the new window, at the top with the tabs, choose the tab labelled "Security."
  4. From the list of "Web Content Zones" with the names "Internet," "Local intranet," "Trusted sites," and "Restricted sites"; highlight "Trusted sites."
  5. With "Trusted sites" highlighted, click on the button labelled "Sites."
  6. Add https://its-services.case.edu to the list of trusted sites.
  7. Hit "Ok" on both windows and attempt to resubmit the site.
